FOUR FALSE PREMISES OF PUBLIC EDUCATION:

1) Paternalism - That a school can take the place of loving parents - notably the father - in guiding their child's/children's education (note that earlier in 'None Dare...Education', America came in near-to-dead last when compared to children in other industrialized countries.  [EX:] only Cyprus and South Africa were worse than the U.S. in Mathematics-BUT, the Asian countries DID NOT PARTICIPATE! WE WERE DEAD LAST IN PHYSICS! Also, that Humanism is the philosophy being taught. God has no place. Little Johnny can decide for himself what is good or bad! Through this system, politicians-and worse-gain control of young minds.).

2) Compartmetalisation - The notion that we live our lives in compartments. We have the Church compartment, the home compartment, the school compartment. We'll teach God at home and at church, but not in school. BUT, we want our teachers teaching: no hitting, no cheating, no lying, etc.

3) Welfare Works - In the 1840s Americans bought into the notion of a false right: that a child has a right to an education at the neighbor's expense (through taxes....i.e., stealing/redistribution of wealth/punishment for improving your house. A free lunch at noon is WELFARE; a math lesson at ten A.M. is WELFARE. We need to get back to '[personal] responsibility,' as in the Bible, and get away from stealing from our neighbors (with the help of the entire political system - local to federal).

4) Socialism Works - The Amercian public school system fits the textbook definition of 'Socialism.'  The GOVERNMENT OWNERSHIP AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION (again giving politicians control of the children's minds). People trying to save public education are Socialists and Atheists!
