In the movie "The Jerk", the character, Navin (actor Steve Martin), was told about his "special purpose".

Well, Glenn Beck is a dick of another type...     Below is his special purpose :

Beck is simply an agent of full disclosure... Yes, he is telling people about the issues and what is being done to them; however, on the other hand he is having people do worthless projects, such as the Tea Parties.

In other words, he is telling people what the issues are so people cannot complain about it, i.e. You guys did not tell us what you were doing to us. At the same time he is keeping people in the system so they can be continued to be duped. The people who have been in control know that "the moaning" will do little or no good.

The truth is, nothing will get done until people practice abstinence.
It is up to people to get out of the system and stop participating. That is the only cure.

Someting else is not right. I recall calling in to the Beck radio show sometime in 2000 or 2001 after Gore/Lieberman lost to Bush and started making the statement that had Gore/Lieberman won the election an Iraq invasion would have been labeled it as a 'Jewish' invasion. I got the statement out but Beck used the delay to keep me off the air and said something like 'oops, we lost the caller.' Maybe there's nothing to it but at the time I felt (a) censored and (b) it was something Beck didn't want addressed on his show as it would not play well with his monied handlers. Whatever the case he is not genuine and I clicked on all of the choices in the poll.
