Title: Wikipedia Mind Control
Post by LB Bork on Mar 22nd, 2011 at 11:17am
To start off discussion on the Mind Control of Wikipedia, look at the generic use of "person" in this entry.

One thing I noted was the absence of the plural of people.

peoples : This people shares characteristics with certain inhabitants of central Asia. The aboriginal peoples of the Western Hemisphere speak many different languages. The formation of the possessive is regular; the singular is people's  and the plural is peoples '.  source

Any comments?

The correct use of plural and possessive forms

Possessive forms (Bedford 36a/Hodges' 15a)
A possessive form of a noun signifies that the noun owns something:

Act 10:34, 35  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
